Status: The post stands in a small compound with six foot high fence. Both externally and internally the post is in a bad condition. Internally the post has been stripped and vandalised. By the end of 2000 both the access shaft and ventilation shafts had been capped with concrete. The post opened in 1958 and closed in October 1968.
