This post is quite easy to find, it is next to Rainham Quarry. The post is in a small compound to the right of the main entrance. The post is locked with one large padlock and the "T" Bar lock. Other than the hatch/entrance shaft and the air vent there are no other external features. The paint is flaking quite badly but the hatch looks undamaged. I could not get to close to the post because of the compound fence.
Internally the post is good condition there is no water and no dampness, unfortunately most of the equipment in the photo is no longer there as someone removed it before I was able to lock the post

Future work:

I am at present trying to find the owner, because a number of people are interested in restoring the post.
