Road Head

Status: This post is on top of a large hill just outside the village of Road Head, in Cumbria.. The post is locked with two large padlocks as well as the T bar lock, Externally the post is in a good condition except for the top of the ventilation shaft which is lying on the ground nearby. The internal state of the post is unknown due to it being locked. The post opened in May 1961 and closed in September 1991.
Future Action: To re visit when possible and arrange an internal visit.
